Emergency Medicine
Anne Smith is the Senior Program Coordinator for the St. Luke’s University Health Network- Anderson Campus, Emergency Medicine Residency Program. She began working for St. Luke’s University Health Network in 2019 in Graduate Medical Education. In the first year of her GME career she worked with many different programs and specialties including Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, General Surgery and Transitional Year. St. Luke’s was expanding their GME programs and Anne was one of the first coordinators at the Anderson campus to help build and develop the now robust GME department. St. Luke’s is now home to over 60 Residency and Fellowship Programs.
In her time following that first formative year, Anne was instrumental in the development and accreditation of the Emergency Medical Services Fellowship in which she became the coordinator, in addition to her role with the Emergency Medicine Residency Program. Following this, Anne became TAGME certified and advanced her title to a Senior role within the SLUHN GME department.
Anne is excited to continue the momentum she has within GME and continue to advance and use all the tools she has learned in a creative way as the Creative Digital Media Board Member.
