As a dedicated and dynamic professional with a strong background in academic administration and medical education, Arielle currently serves as the Psychiatry Program Administrator for Graduate Medical Education at Cape Fear Valley Health in Fayetteville, NC, where she oversees day-to-day operations and strategic planning for a psychiatry residency program. In this role, she collaborates closely with faculty, residents, and institutional leadership to ensure compliance with ACGME requirements, enhance program development, and support the academic and professional growth of our trainees. She holds a Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education certification. She is also a recipient of National Society of Academic Medical Administrators Distinguished New Medical Education Administrator Award, GME Professional Spotlight recipient, and Cape Fear Valley Health Synergy Star of GME recipient.
Her career in academic healthcare administration has been shaped by over a decade of progressive experience in medical settings and higher education. She holds a Master of Science in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Fayetteville State University. She consistently leverages her organizational and interpersonal skills to streamline administrative processes, coordinate complex accreditation efforts, and foster inclusive environments that support both learners and faculty.
What drives her is a deep passion for improving the systems that shape medical training, especially in mental health disciplines where compassionate care and rigorous education are equally vital. Her work is grounded in a commitment to equity, professional development, and the advancement of medical education standards.
